Accessory idea - detachable collars!

I've been following this blog for a few months, mostly for eye-candy - Drop Dead Kawaii. But today found something I find useful for myself and would like to share.

They posted a magazine scan with a tutorial on detachable collars that can be worn with any top/dress without altering it forever.

I'm planning to get a few to wear with everyday clothes. I already made one before to decorate a dress so that it would look more acceptable in winter. There's just a strap of fake fur I wear around the neck, and 2 wider ones sewn as "tubes" - I have these as cuffs. The latter keep me warm as well. ;)
